This registered charity, for whom Pamela Dawson-Tasker is the President of their Alfas del Pi branch, works tirelessly to give preventative advice and help for victims, and their families, of those who have fallen victim to this disease. Their charity is in urgent need of funding to provide ‘hospice’ care for the terminally ill and your help is greatly needed and would be much appreciated.

Age Concern was established in Spain in 1994 and developed from an organisation called O.A.S.I.S.‚ based in the Balearics. Initially known as Age Concern Spain (Baleares) it developed with the active support of Age Concern England. Increasingly closer ties with like-minded organisations throughout Spain and the development of the organisation in the Spanish Islands led to the creation of Age Concern groups in Ibiza‚ Mallorca and Menorca and a nationwide Federation. In 1998 this federation became known as Age Concern España and the number of local organisations within it continues to grow.
